Notes
- Shelbourne United withdrew from the League of Ireland on 7 September 1924, the day after the competition officially started. Their place was awarded to Fordsons.
- Athlone versus Bohemians matches were not played. Both games were awarded to Bohemians, with no goals registered.
- Brooklyn were not re-elected to the League of Ireland for the next season.
- Brideville were elected to the League of Ireland for the next season.
